Enjoy our 3658 foot DeSoto Executive Lakefront home on a quiet cove just off the main body of the lake. The five bedroom home is designed for large family gatherings. All rooms are large with three bedrooms (18 by 16 master with jetted tub), two baths on main floor and two huge (20 by 19 and 18 by 16) bedrooms with three queen beds in each and one bath on the lower level.

Great place for several families to share the home (and cost!) with adults in their own bedroom upstairs, and children share the lower level. Both levels have a 33 foot by 11 foot covered deck on the lakeside to grill dinner or watch the sunrise or moon.

Bring your own boat or rentals are available at the marina on Lake DeSoto one mile from the house. Hot Springs Villages six recreational man made lakes offer some of the finest fishing and boating in central Arkansas!

What makes it so nice is that because we are not open to the general public, you will only see a few boats on the lakes, even on weekends in the summertime. There are almost 1,900 acres of spring fed, sky blue water, and each tree-lined cove is home to bass, crappie, catfish, and bream.

Hot Springs Village, Arkansas is set in the Ouachita Lake and forest regions of Arkansas, and on the southern edge of the Ozarks; Hot Springs, Arkansas is one of the five most visited areas of the country. Hot Springs is the smallest and oldest of the parks in the National Park System, dating back to 1832.

Within a short 15 minute drive our guests have access to Lake Ouachita, the largest lake (40,100 acres) located entirely within Arkansas, renowned for its scenic beauty and clear waters. The lake is virtually surrounded by the Ouachita National Forest and has one of Arkansas's most pristine shorelines at some 970 miles.

The 40-mile-long lake is a favorite of sailors for its vast stretches of open water. Scuba divers enjoy the clear waters. Recreational boating, water skiing and other water sports are also very popular on Lake Ouachita, which boasts more than 100 uninhabited islands for primitive camping.

For anglers, Lake Ouachita is well-known for its prolific fishing opportunities, especially for largemouth and hybrid striped bass. It consistently ranks in the top ten nationally for largemouth bass and is home to 1995 Bass Champion, Mark Davis.

Spend the day relaxing with a thermal bath and massage in the historic baths of Hot Springs National Park, or go shopping on Central Avenue. Stop in one of the many unique shops or fine art galleries (our manager, Cindy, is a nationally recognized watercolor artist and instructor and has exhibited her work in several of the galleries downtown.

She also enjoys leading workshops in this home or at our Summit House location atop MT. Nebo near Dardanelle, Arkansas. Hot Springs is home to Oaklawn Jockey Club, America's dominant thoroughbred horse racing facility, featuring 60-plus days of thrilling thoroughbred racing from late January through April each year.

The whole family will enjoy Magic Springs’ theme and water parks, Hot Springs National Park, the Mid-America Science Museum, live music and magic shows and a host of other family-oriented attractions.

A national park, a leading thoroughbred racetrack, a 210-acre botanical garden, a combination theme and water park, and an arts community that's earned the city a ranking among America's Top Ten small arts towns are just some of the reasons the bustling resort town of Hot Springs -- the boyhood home of former U.S. President Bill Clinton -- is Arkansas's top tourist destination.
